This is a flexible, part-time training programme providing opportunities to return to learning and build existing skill for young people and adults in subjects such as bookkeeping, administration, healthcare and IT. It is a re-entry route for those in the workplace who wish to upgrade their skills in line with emerging needs.
Target Age Group 16 years +. There is no upper age limit.
Eligibility Criteria Must have left full time education to apply for a BTEI course. Priority is given to people with less than a Leaving Cert standard of education.
