The adoption service works with children and parents who have adopted domestically (stranger adoptions i.e. mothers who place with parents they don’t know; step parent adoptions and fostering to adoption). The service also works with all families who have adopted internationally. An Information & Tracing service is offered to all people who have been adopted or who have placed a child for adoption. Counselling is also offered for mothers who may be considering adoption.
