Children In Care Team

This is a statutory social work service provided to children and young people in voluntary and court ordered care. The work involves case management, care plans, individual work, advocacy, assessments, guidance and support.

Target Age Group 0-18 years

Referrals Children transfer to the Children In Care team following initial / further assessment by the Duty or Protection teams. Referrals to these teams can be made by professionals, family members or members of the community.

Eligibility Criteria Child / young person must be in Voluntary or Court Ordered care.
